(as tourists!)

In August 1999 Lechoslaw Piotrowski, son of Władysław flew to the United States to visit the country. It was the first time when any Polish Błaszczycha went to America as a tourist.
He went there together with his girl-friend Katarzyna (Kasia - Kate) Piotrowski (she is not relative to Blaszczychas).
They spent in America almost eight weeks - went there in the middle of August and returned to Poland in the beginning of October.

During the first part of their excursion to the USA Kasia and Leszek lived with Andrzej Janiak in New York, NY, then with Wojtek Opara in Greenwich, CT.
Later they went with Wojtek to Greenville, SC for a couple of days.
It is Wojtek that gave them his car to go to Rossford, OH to visit Rose.
Andrzej and Wojtek are friends of Tadeusz and Władysław from their common students years at Gdańsk Technical University.
The picture (below) shows them (Andrzej at left, Wojtek - right) during Wojtek's visit to Gdańsk (somewhere in the beginning of 1990s)
